I do not think this sounds awesome. I think it sounds like death.

And, to end on the exact opposite of a light note: the number of Americans who filed for bankruptcy last year increased 38 percent from 2006. And hey, by the way, home prices dropped 14% in the first three months of this year, oil prices continue breaking records, and the building you're in right now is literally on fire.

Ah, the hypocrisy of the American public. GWB is a fool for chest bumping and not acting "presidential," yet Obama is an elitist for not knowing how to bowl. Hillary does shots? I mean, honestly! I'm paraphrasing John Stewart here, but don't we WANT the president to be elite? I mean, it is the president. Don't we want him/her to be BETTER THAN US?

Also, for those of us who don't own homes, lower home prices is a good thing. Just think, maybe you'll get an apartment in the city for $8000 a month, instead of $8100.

Funny, the price of a gallon of gas goes up, and people complain. The price of a house goes down, and people complain.

I can't remember who it was during the last election (I want to say Adam Duritz) who said something along the lines of, "It is absolutely a requirement for me that the President be smarter than I am." America needs to come to terms with the fact that the President is never-- not ever-- coming to your barbecue.
