I hope the cost of gas is making you excited about living in new york, where although it always smells like exhaust, you're rarely in a car . . . it's good to be back

Dude I cannot even tell you how excited I am to not have a car anymore.

Ah, the hypocrisy of the American public. GWB is a fool for chest bumping and not acting "presidential," yet Obama is an elitist for not knowing how to bowl. Hillary does shots? I mean, honestly! I'm paraphrasing John Stewart here, but don't we WANT the president to be elite? I mean, it is the president. Don't we want him/her to be BETTER THAN US?

Also, for those of us who don't own homes, lower home prices is a good thing. Just think, maybe you'll get an apartment in the city for $8000 a month, instead of $8100.

Funny, the price of a gallon of gas goes up, and people complain. The price of a house goes down, and people complain.
I can't remember who it was during the last election (I want to say Adam Duritz) who said something along the lines of, "It is absolutely a requirement for me that the President be smarter than I am." America needs to come to terms with the fact that the President is never-- not ever-- coming to your barbecue.

I can just imagine the reaction in the Air Force barracks when the captain comes in and announces that they want someone from that air group to chest bump Dubya before a speech.

*crickets chirping*

I hope that poor sap got a commendation.

Ah, the Hamdog. Welcome to summer.
